Yes, I am aware that you may be viewing this webpage at any time of the day but I feel as a greeting, it does well.

This is the portfolio of me, Lee Carrick and happens to be the slightly more sane domain of my web based presence, where foolishness is turned down a notch and some work finally gets done.

I'm a Bsc Software Engineering/Computer Systems Engineering student at the University of Sunderland living in the early stages of the 3rd decade of my life, much to my own shock and surprise. Over the years I’ve developed a large passion for web design and development and enjoy creating new and interesting ways of expressing myself through digital media in the form of websites.

Starting out I began learning about the fundamentals of creating WebPages and since then have improved my own skill and ability with a range of web based languages such as (X) HTML, PHP & CSS. I've become accustomed to the W3C web standards, learning why they are put into practice and I’ve even improved using design tools such as Adobe Photoshop.

Don't get me wrong I’m not an expert but I do have a passion and willing to keep pushing forward in an area I thoroughly enjoy.
